Account Deletion Policy

1. Overview
This Account Deletion Policy explains how account deletion is managed on CheatSheetShop ("CSS").
CSS operates under a single Member account model.
Each Member account may:
- Purchase digital content
- Sell digital content
- Receive seller earnings through Stripe Connect
- Participate in platform activity
When a Member requests deletion, the entire account — including all buying and selling privileges — is terminated.
2. What Account Deletion Means
When a Member account is deleted:
- Login access is permanently revoked
- Selling privileges are terminated
- All active listings are unpublished
- Access to CSS earnings reporting is closed
- Profile information is removed where legally permitted
Account deletion applies to the entire Member identity. It cannot be partially applied to buying or selling only.
3. Purchased Content Access
Upon account deletion:
- Access to previously purchased content ends.
- The purchase library is no longer accessible.
- Files cannot be recovered after deletion.
Members must download any purchased files before confirming deletion.
CSS does not guarantee restoration of access once an account has been deleted.
4. Impact on Purchasing Member of a Deleted Uploading Member
If a Member who previously sold content deletes their account:
- Their listings are unpublished.
- No future purchases can be made.
- Any applicable 28-day download window for voluntarily unpublished sold listings must finish before the seller's account deletion can proceed.
- Purchasing members receive the unlisting notice and scheduled reminders described in the Terms of Service.
- Download access ends when that window expires, or earlier where a refund, investigation decision, dispute, chargeback, legal requirement, or policy enforcement action invalidates access.
The seller's later account deletion does not shorten a download window that CSS has already granted, but it does not create indefinite access or a post-expiry recovery right.
Where a purchased listing is under investigation, existing purchasing members retain access while new purchases are blocked, unless a later investigation outcome or legal requirement changes that access.
5. Financial Conditions
Before deletion:
- Stripe Connect onboarding must not be incomplete where seller funds require action.
- Any pending Stripe payout or other unsettled seller transaction must be resolved.
- Open disputes must be concluded.
Deletion may be delayed until:
- Financial obligations are cleared
- Fraud reviews are completed
- Platform investigations are resolved
6. Data Retention
Even after account deletion, CSS may retain limited records where required for:
- Tax compliance
- Payment processor requirements
- Fraud prevention
- Chargeback defense
- Legal compliance
- Audit logging
Retained records may include:
- Transaction metadata
- Payment references
- Moderation logs
- Security logs
We do not retain:
- Public profile visibility
- Active listings
- Marketing preferences
7. Irreversibility
Account deletion is permanent.
- Deleted accounts cannot be restored.
- Purchase libraries cannot be reinstated.
- Uploading Member storefronts cannot be recovered.
Members must confirm deletion knowingly and intentionally.
8. Platform Enforcement
CSS reserves the right to:
- Suspend accounts without deletion
- Restrict selling privileges
- Permanently ban Members for policy violations
- Retain fraud-related data where legally required
9. Changes to This Policy
CSS may update this Account Deletion Policy from time to time.
Where significant changes are made, reasonable notice will be provided through the platform.
Continued use of CSS after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
