Content Upload Policy

Last Updated: August 2026

1. Overview

This Content Upload Policy explains what content may be uploaded to CheatSheetShop ("CSS"), what content is prohibited, and how uploaded content is managed on the platform.

All members are responsible for ensuring that any content they upload complies with this policy.

By uploading content to CSS, you agree to follow the requirements outlined below.

2. Ownership Requirements

Members may only upload content that they:

  • Created themselves; or
  • Have permission to distribute; or
  • Legally own the rights to use and share.

Members must not upload content that infringes the rights of another individual, organisation, publisher, institution, or copyright owner.

The member who uploads content remains solely responsible for that content.

3. Permitted Content

CSS is intended to facilitate the sharing and sale of educational and informational resources.

Examples of permitted content include:

  • Study notes
  • Summary sheets
  • Practice questions
  • Tutorials
  • Reference guides
  • Educational templates
  • Original learning resources

Content must provide genuine educational or informational value.

4. Prohibited Content

The following content is not permitted on CSS:

4.1 Copyright Infringement

Content that:

  • Copies copyrighted material without permission;
  • Reproduces textbooks, articles, publications, or commercial resources without authorisation;
  • Violates intellectual property rights.

4.2 Academic Misconduct

Content intended to facilitate academic dishonesty, including:

  • Completed assessments submitted for grading;
  • Examination papers obtained without authorisation;
  • Answer keys not intended for public distribution;
  • Materials that encourage cheating or plagiarism.

4.3 Academic Integrity

Members are responsible for ensuring that content uploaded to CSS does not breach the academic integrity requirements, regulations, or policies of any educational institution.

CSS does not provide academic advice and cannot determine whether a particular resource complies with the requirements of every institution.

Responsibility for the use, submission, distribution, or reliance upon uploaded content remains with the member and any institution involved.

Where CSS becomes aware that content may create a significant risk of academic misconduct or violate institutional requirements, CSS may investigate and take action in accordance with this policy.

4.4 Misleading Content

Content that:

  • Is intentionally deceptive;
  • Contains false claims;
  • Misrepresents its contents;
  • Uses inaccurate titles, descriptions, or previews.

4.5 Illegal Content

Content that violates applicable laws or regulations.

4.6 Harmful Content

Content that contains:

  • Malware;
  • Viruses;
  • Malicious software;
  • Code intended to disrupt or damage systems.

4.7 Offensive Content

Content that is:

  • Abusive;
  • Harassing;
  • Threatening;
  • Hateful;
  • Discriminatory;
  • Unlawfully defamatory.

4.8 Restricted Content

Content that primarily provides:

  • Medical advice;
  • Legal advice;
  • Financial advice;
  • Professional licensing examination materials obtained unlawfully;
  • Government examination materials obtained unlawfully; or
  • Any other content that CSS reasonably believes creates significant legal, regulatory, or reputational risk for the platform.

5. AI-Generated Content

AI-generated content may be uploaded provided that:

  • The member has the right to use the generated content;
  • The content complies with all other CSS policies;
  • The content provides meaningful value to members; and
  • The content is accurately represented within the listing.

Members remain responsible for all AI-generated content they upload.

The use of AI does not transfer responsibility to the AI provider or to CSS.

6. Listing Accuracy

Members must make reasonable efforts to ensure that:

  • Listing titles are accurate;
  • Descriptions accurately reflect the content;
  • Previews represent the uploaded resource;
  • Claims regarding quality, completeness, or usefulness are truthful.

Content that is found to be materially different from what was advertised may be subject to investigation under the Content Representation & Dispute Policy.

7. Content Review

CSS may review uploaded content for:

  • Policy compliance;
  • Platform integrity;
  • Security purposes;
  • Investigation of complaints or disputes.

CSS does not guarantee that every upload will be reviewed before publication.

The responsibility for uploaded content remains with the member who uploaded it.

8. Content Removal

CSS may remove, disable, restrict, or suspend access to content where there is a reasonable belief that the content:

  • Breaches this policy;
  • Breaches another CSS policy;
  • Creates legal risk for the platform;
  • Generates credible complaints;
  • Is subject to an active investigation.

Removal may occur with or without prior notice where reasonably necessary.

Where a listing member voluntarily unpublishes content that has valid purchases, CSS normally provides those purchasing members with a 28-day download window and scheduled expiry reminders. That window does not limit CSS's ability to restrict access sooner for a refund, investigation outcome, chargeback, legal requirement, or policy enforcement action.

9. Account Action

Where a member repeatedly violates this policy, CSS may:

  • Issue warnings;
  • Remove listings;
  • Temporarily suspend listing privileges;
  • Temporarily suspend accounts;
  • Permanently terminate accounts.

CSS reserves the right to determine the appropriate action based on the severity and frequency of violations.

10. Reporting Content

Members may report content they believe:

  • Infringes copyright;
  • Violates platform policies;
  • Contains harmful material;
  • Is misleading or misrepresented.

Reports should include sufficient information for CSS to investigate the concern.

For a purchased listing, the purchasing member should use Report this Listing on that listing's page. While the resulting investigation is open, the listing is hidden from search and trending results and cannot accept new purchases. Existing purchasing members retain access unless an investigation decision, refund, chargeback, or legal requirement changes that access.

11. No Guarantee of Approval

Uploading content does not guarantee that a listing will remain available on CSS.

All content remains subject to ongoing compliance with platform policies.

12. Changes to This Policy

CSS may update this Content Upload Policy from time to time.

Where significant changes are made, reasonable notice will be provided through the platform.

Continued use of CSS after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

13. Contact

Questions regarding this policy may be submitted through the CSS support system.

We will make reasonable efforts to respond promptly.
