Payout Policy

Last Updated: August 2026

1. Overview

This Payout Policy explains how eligible seller earnings are processed for members of CheatSheetShop ("CSS").

CSS uses Stripe Connect to route seller earnings and manage payouts. CSS does not maintain an internal member balance or accept member-initiated payout requests.

By selling through CSS, members agree to this policy and Stripe's applicable connected-account terms.

2. Stripe Connect Eligibility

Before receiving earnings, a seller must:

  • Complete Stripe Connect onboarding;
  • Provide accurate identity, business, tax, and bank information requested by Stripe;
  • Keep their connected account capable of receiving charges and payouts; and
  • Comply with CSS policies and Stripe's requirements.

An incomplete or restricted connected account may prevent selling or delay access to funds.

3. Seller Earnings

Eligible earnings are calculated from completed purchases after applicable CSS fees, refunds, reversals, disputes, and chargebacks.

CSS records purchases and platform fees for reporting and reconciliation. Stripe records the movement and payout of seller funds.

Membership tiers may affect CSS fees, but CSS does not impose an internal minimum payout threshold.

4. Payout Timing

Stripe controls payout availability, timing, and settlement based on the connected account's country, currency, payout schedule, verification status, and risk review.

Bank processing times and public holidays may affect when funds arrive. CSS cannot guarantee a specific arrival date for a Stripe payout.

5. Refunds, Disputes, and Negative Balances

Refunds, payment disputes, chargebacks, processing fees, and reversals may reduce seller earnings or create an amount owed.

Stripe or CSS may recover an amount from the connected account or offset it against future seller earnings where permitted. Access to the affected purchase may be revoked in accordance with CSS policies.

6. Holds and Restrictions

CSS or Stripe may delay or restrict payment activity where reasonably necessary to:

  • Investigate fraud or policy violations;
  • Resolve refunds, disputes, or chargebacks;
  • Verify identity, account ownership, or bank details; or
  • Comply with legal or payment-network obligations.

Where practical and permitted, the affected seller will be informed of required action.

7. Failed Payouts and Account Details

Sellers are responsible for keeping their Stripe connected-account and bank information accurate and current.

Failed payouts are handled through Stripe. A seller may need to update their information or contact Stripe support before Stripe retries or releases a payout.

8. Currency

Purchase, fee, and payout currencies are recorded with the relevant transaction. Currency conversion, settlement currency, and conversion fees may be determined by Stripe and the seller's financial institution.

9. Account Closure

Account deletion may be delayed while a Stripe payout, refund, dispute, chargeback, negative balance, or other financial obligation remains unresolved.

CSS may retain transaction and payment references where required for tax, audit, fraud prevention, payment-processor, or legal obligations.

10. Changes to This Policy

CSS may update this Payout Policy from time to time. Where significant changes are made, reasonable notice will be provided through the platform.

Continued use of CSS after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

11. Contact

Questions regarding this policy may be submitted through the CSS support system.
